Neusoft Corporation, China’s largest software outsourcing company, expects its 2009 profit to increase more than 20%, said its founder and chairman Liu Jiren last Friday.

He attributed his expectation of increased profit to the urgent need for innovations in manufactured products, to the desire of multinationals to cut costs and to the opportunity afforded by the government’s economic stimulus plan worth RMB 4 trillion.

He also said that even in the worst case the company’s profit growth would not be less than 20%, and would probably exceed this figure.

China’s software outsourcing industry will grow 40% to 45% annually for the foreseeable future, according to Reuters analysts.

The Shenyang-based company provides software products, software engineering and related services. Neusoft has established multiple overseas subsidiaries and is considering acquisitions in the US, Europe and Japan, with possible joint ventures to supplement its Chinese business.
